Birmingham's premier Party in the Park has been pushed back a day to make way for the Live8 concert in London.
There were fears for Birmingham's biggest annual outdoor music event when Bob Geldof revealed plans for the concert on the same day.
Its sister show, also scheduled for July 2 in Hyde Park, was dropped to make way for the British Live8, organised to raise awareness of world poverty.
But New BRMB bosses have now decided to delay the Birmingham concert by 24 hours.
