Birmingham's Party in the Park will go ahead, organisers have announced.
It was feared the event could be axed after its sister show in London's Hyde Park was cancelled to allow the free British Live8 concert to be staged.
But a BRMB spokeswoman said: "The Live8 concert and Party in the Park are both due to take place on 2nd July. Party in the Park will take place this year in Birmingham and no changes have been made to the artist line-up."
Thousands are expected to attend to see bands including Texas, Craig David and McFly.
