The parents of a man found stabbed to death in Birmingham have paid tribute to their son, saying he will be "forever loved and missed".

Wayne Hill, 30, was discovered at an address in Tideswell Road in the Perry Barr area of the city.

His mother, Jen, and father Doug said: "We would like to thank most sincerely the liaison officers from West Midlands Police for their kind help and support, and also the friends and relations who without their help we would not have got through this terrible ordeal.

"Wayne was a loving son and brother who will be forever loved and missed."

A 30-year-old woman is due at Birmingham Crown Court on April 22, charged with Mr Hill's murder.
