An American internet paedophile jailed for grooming a 13-year-old Birmingham girl for sex has been remanded in custody as his extradition hearing continues.
Raymond Bohning faces a double-jeopardy prosecution for sex crimes against his victim and bombarding her with child pornography.
Bohning was jailed for two-and-a-half years after being convicted at Birmingham Crown Court in March last year of possessing obscene images, distributing an indecent image and publishing an obscene article.
The US authorities have applied to extradite him to Florida to face charges relating to the same case. The 57 year-old was remanded in custody until April 29.
