Staffordshire fencing firm Grangewood is putting out a healthy contingent in next month's Morrisons Great Birmingham 10k Business Challenge.

The Yoxall-based company has recruited 11 members of staff for the race with teams from its Tamworth and Gresley depots running in aid of childhood cancer charity CLIC Sargent and Macmillan Cancer Support respectively.

Team co-ordinator Sarah Orson said: "Everyone has been training really hard for a few months already.

"My husband James has done the Great Birmingham Run half marathon a couple of times and my daughter Emily has done the Mini Run twice. It's a great event, a really fabulous atmosphere."
