New sponsors for Warwickshire CCC announced

Four local companies have stepped up to the crease as sponsors for the new season at Warwickshire County Cricket Club.

Four local companies have stepped up to the crease as sponsors for the new season at Warwickshire County Cricket Club.

In a mark of the popularity of the Twenty20 tournament among fans, the club has signed up a new roster of sponsors. The new shirt sponsors will be wealth management firm Blackstar, which has a strong presence in the area.

Other sponsors include CrossCountry Trains, based in Snow Hill Station, and entertainment complex Star City. Local music station BRMB has become the official radio partner for the club for 2009, and will be providing the music for all home games this season, plus DJ Russ Morris as a host. The Bears’ home Twenty20 campaign starts on May 29 when the team takes on local rivals Worcestershire Royals.
