Police have launched a murder inquiry after a man died from injuries he suffered in an attack at a Warwickshire pub.

David Adderley, aged 48, of Adkins Croft, Church Lane, Fillongley, died on Friday night after a fight at the Saracen's Head public house, Tamworth Road, Corley, the previous week.

Police are appealing for drinkers to come forward if they witnessed the fight, which occurred at the pub on Thursday, September 15.

Witnesses should call room on 024 76 483232. Alternatively information can be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Two men, aged 32 and 21, arrested shortly after the incident, were released on police bail to September 30.
