A 52-year-old motorcylcist from Staffordshire has been killed in an accident near Barton-under-Needwood.
Police said the man, from the Yoxall area, was pronounced dead at the scene on the incident at Barton Turn.
The pillion passenger, a 26-year-old man from south Derbyshire, was injured in the accident. No other vehicle is thought to have been involved.
