A young mother charged in connection with the alleged airliner bomb plot appeared in court yesterday.
Cossar Ali (24) from Walthamstow, east London, is accused of failing to disclose information which might be of "material assistance" in preventing her husband Ahmed Abdullah Ali from the commission of a terrorist act.
Ali, who has an eight-month-old baby, appeared before City Of Westminster Magistrates in central London for a brief hearing.
She was remanded in custody until September 5.
A second suspect, Mehran Hussain (23) from Chingford, east London, was remanded in custody in his absence. He is next scheduled to appear on September 19.
Hussain is charged under the Terrorism Act 2000 with failing to disclose information about his brother, Nabeel Hussain, who was last night charged with conspiracy to murder and an offence under section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
A 17-year-old youth, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is accused of an offence under Section 58(1)(b)
