Moor Green suffered late heart-ache for the second week running after conceding an equaliser to Nuneaton Borough at Damson Park.

An injury-time goal cost them a place in the FA Cup first round last week but on Saturday their disappointment came slightly earlier.

Moors' first-half display had been rewarded just before the break when Darren Middleton slotted home Phil Trainer's pass, despite Boro claims for offside.

But Nuneaton were transformed by their half-time break and they battered the home defence until they wilted ten minutes from time and Gez Murphy, who scored a hat-trick in last season's corresponding fixture, drilled in a low shot.

Redditch United twice took the lead at home to Lancaster City but had to settle for a point. Defender Exodus Geohaghan had bundled in a second-minute opener to give

the Reds the perfect start but Jordan Connerton's header made it 1-1 in the 33rd minute.

Simon Hollis took advantage of a harshly-awarded penalty when Lancaster defender Danny Barnes was adjudged to have handled to restore the lead on 64 minutes but teenager Luke Mul-holland thundered in a volley four minutes from time.

It was a similar tale of frustration for Worcester City at Hyde United. City created the better chances with Craig Wilding being denied twice and Chris Smith and George Clegg sending headers off-target but they escaped in injury-time when Gareth Seddon hit the post.

In the UniBond League Premier Division, top two AFC Telford United and Hednesford Town chalked up away wins.

The Bucks defeated Lincoln United 4-0, with Steve Foster, Tyrone Barnett, and Lee Moore (2) scoring and Hednesford edged out hosts Matlock Town 1-0, courtesy of a Dave Whittaker effort two minutes before half-time.
