The BBC’s Celebrity MasterChef champion Lisa Faulkner is joining TV judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace at a Meet The MasterChefs event at Peel’s Restaurant, in Hampton-in-Arden, Solihull, this week.
Lisa will team up with 2010 MasterChef winner Dhruv Baker and finalists Tim Kinnaird and Alex Rushmer when they return to Peel’s, at Hampton Manor, on Friday (November 26). Baker, Kinnaird and Rushmer staged a similar event at the fine dining restaurant last year.
Lisa, John and Gregg will host a cocktail reception and guests will have the chance to find out what goes on behind the scenes at MasterChef HQ. Diners will then enjoy a four-course dinner created by Peel’s head chef Martyn Pearn.
Lisa said: “Winning Celebrity MasterChef has sparked into life my love and passion for food. I can’t wait to visit Birmingham, especially to join John and Gregg at Peel’s.”
The event takes place during this year’s BBC Winter Good Food Show at the nearby NEC, which runs from November 24-28.
John, Gregg, Lisa and all three finalists will also be appearing at the show on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Peel’s evening costs £199.95 per couple, including the drinks reception, a signed copy of the MasterChef Cookbook and a goodie bag with pair of tickets to the BBC Good Food Show Winter.
Private tables are available for parties of 4 or more and individual places can be booked for £129.95.
