A 30-YEAR-OLD man is in hospital after being shot in the stomach in Moseley.
The incident took place at an address in Wake Green Road at 11.30am on Thursday.
The victim was tended to by family members until medics arrived and took the man to hospital. His injuries were not thought to be life threatening. Officers searched the area for some time after the incident but there was no trace of the suspects.
Wake Green Road was cordoned-off between College Road and Green Road while a forensic search of the area was carried out.
House to house enquiries were carried out as well as an examination of CCTV in the local area.
Initial inquiries suggested it may have been a drive-by shooting with a gun fired from a black Audi car which was passing the house.
