A man arrested in connection with the death of a woman at a New Year's Eve party has been released on bail.
The man, in his 30s, was arrested after 46-year-old mother Sharn Jones collapsed at the party at a house in Minsterley, near Shrewsbury.
Officers were called to the scene just after 3am on January 1 to reports of an assault and a woman collapsing. Ms Jones was taken to hospital, where she died later.
West Mercia Police said the man, who was detained after his arrest at the address, had been released pending further inquiries.
He was initially arrested on suspicion of assault and then later on suspicion of murder following Ms Jones's death.
Forensic investigators were still working at the scene on Friday and the house remained cordoned off.
A police spokeswoman said a post mortem examination was carried out yesterday by a Home Office pathologist and they were waiting for results of further tests to establish a formal cause of death.
An inquest will be opened by John Ellery, coroner for Mid and North Shropshire, in due course, she said.
Detective Inspector Gavin Kinrade, of Shrewsbury CID, said anyone with information about the incident who had not yet spoken to police was urged to get in touch.
Tributes to Ms Jones poured in on the social networking website Facebook.
Friend Angharad Baldwin described Ms Jones as being like a second mother to her and said she had a "bubbly" personality. She wrote: "Going 2 miss u sooo much hunni just cant believe this has happened to someone as nice as you."
Another, Suzanne Lednor, wrote: "i cant believe the 2009 comes and we are saying goodbye to you :( sharn you have touched so many hearts in the short time i have known you and i know from above you will continue to do so xxx take care angel x."
And Sarah Parker wrote: "To sharn and all her family. we have known each other years and years, we lost touch but found each other thanks to facebook last year, i cannot believe that i have lost a great friend again, may you rest in peace. i will miss our chats and you calling in work. you will never be forgotten. you will always shine in your families hearts.x."
The site features a photograph of Ms Jones taken early on New Year's Day.
Ms Jones, who described herself as being single, was also pictured celebrating her son's 21st birthday just a few days ago.
Her own Facebook status, written yesterday, still reads: "Sharn Jones is wishing all her friends and family a great new year..xxxx."
