A major new series encouraging the maxim 'love thy neighbour' through a crash course with a "no-nonsense" West Bromwich mediator is due to begin filming.
Claire Castle, an experienced mediator and anti-social behaviour expert, is due to take part in the program which is due to be screened on Channel Four in the New Year.
The program aims to deal with the problem of neighbourly disputes and resolve them before they escalate to the point of court action.
Ms Castle will be filmed as she demonstrates reconciliation techniques to feuding neighbours, such as bringing them together, talking through their problems and legal practicalities of court action and teaching them how their behaviour has a knockon effect on others.
Ms Castle, who set up a private company, Anti-Social Behaviour Operations in 2001, to help Local Authorities and Housing Associations evict neighbours from hell and to prepare extreme feuds to go to court, said: "Although disputes have always occurred between neighbours people filing for Asbos seems to be a sign of the times.
"This is because people spend less and less time communicating and they do not know their neighbours in the same way that they used to."
