A man has died after his lorry crashed into two parked cars in Coseley.

The 56-year-old man, from Bradley in Wolverhampton, was pronounced dead at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley.

No one else was injured in the accident in Yew Tree Lane on Thursday afternoon.

The lorry collided with the cars, pushing one of them into the side of a house.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said the lorry driver was found to be in cardiac arrest.

"Unfortunately despite the best efforts of ambulance crews, fire service personnel and hospital medics nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at hospital."
