Dear Editor, While the problem of litter is something we all come across everyday, does it affect us enough to actually do something about it?
The answer for some people is a resounding “Yes!”.
In every town or city there are people who go out of their way to make the communities they live in a cleaner, tidier, better place for themselves and their neighbours.
These dedicated litter heroes love where they live.
At Keep Britain Tidy we firmly believe that in order to win the war against litter we all have a responsibility in creating litter-free villages, towns, cities and open spaces.
Our Love Where You Live campaign is about inspiring everyone to think about their communities and take action to reduce litter in the locations where they live, the places they visit and the spaces that they use.
Everyone loves something about where they live and we want the litter heroes out there to help us show everyone how to achieve this.
Are you one of the country’s litter heroes who pick up other people’s litter, teach others how to do the right thing, campaign to make their community a cleaner place? Or do you know someone who is?
If the answer is yes, Keep Britain Tidy would love to hear from you.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org or post us details and any photos of what you do, by August, 31 and help us to keep Britain tidy.
