Robin Lett's debut half-century helped Somerset to 258 for eight against weakened Glamorgan in the County Championship Division Two match at Taunton.

The 19-year-old scored exactly 50 after Glamorgan had lost David Harrison through injury, joining fellow seamers James Franklin, Alex Wharf and Andrew Davies. Teenager Huw Waters took four for 58.
