Newly-appointed Leicester City manager Rob Kelly says the players - and not he - should take the credit for the Foxes' turnaround in fortunes.

Kelly has been made boss until the end of the season with goalkeeping coach Mike Stowell as his assistant.

The 41-year-old Kelly was initially placed in temporary charge after the sacking of Craig Levein last month and lost his first match as visiting Southampton snatched a last-gasp FA Cup fourth-round victory.

But three successive Championship victories have followed and after leading Leicester out of the relegation zone, Kelly said: "We're not out of the trouble we're in at the moment and we know what we've got to do.

"But we've got good players here. It's a great opportunity for myself and Mike."
