A teenager told a court yesterday how he filmed his drama teacher giving him oral sex on his mobile phone after he went to her for a note explaining why he was late for an IT lesson.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told Birmingham Crown Court that Rebecca Poole (26) also had full sex with him outside school on up to eight occasions.
Both the Crown and the defence have agreed that Poole did perform oral sex on the boy, then aged 15, in her classroom in Birmingham in the autumn of 2005, but she claims she was being threatened with a screwdriver after refusing to give him money.
Asked by Sally Hancox, prosecuting, why he had gone to Poole's classroom, the teenager replied: "I had to get a note because I was late for my lesson.
She said 'Right, I will give you a note'."
He said he then asked Poole for oral sex: "She said 'right now?' and I said 'yes' and she said 'course'."
The court was told that the boy leaned against the classroom door during the sex act to ensure that no one could enter.
During cross-examination by defence barrister David Mason, the boy denied he had invented the sexual encounters and insisted that Poole had not been threatened during the incident at the school.
Poole, of May Lane, Hollywood, north Worcestershire, denies three charges of sexual activity with a child and one of abuse of trust with a child.
The headmaster of the school told the jury Poole had not told him about the sexual assault she alleged the 15-year-old boy had committed.
The trial continues.
