Law firm mfg Solicitors and the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) recently held a spring farming seminar in Ludlow which gave Shropshire’s farmers, landowners and rural professionals advice on rural legislation.
The seminar was held at Ludlow Kitchen and saw legal and rural experts from both mfg and the CLA presenting to over 70 guests on topics including business structures, diversification, succession planning and protecting family assets by way of pre-nuptual agreements.
“Our Ludlow farming seminar always plays an important role in updating farmers , landowners and professionals on the big legal challenges affecting the sector,’’ said Iain Morrison, partner and head of agricultural and rural affairs at mfg Solicitors.
“It was fantastic to see so many people attending the event and getting involved in the debate on issues that will affect the industry in the months and years ahead. We’d like to thank Ludlow Kitchen for being such great hosts.”
Aside from the Ludlow event, mfg Solicitors and the CLA also held seminars in Shrewsbury and Worcester.
