Glamour model Katie Price performed at the Horse of the Year show in Birmingham on Friday – and enjoyed it so much she asked to be allowed back.

Organisers are now trying to work out how Price – who became famous as topless model Jordan – can be squeezed into the show’s finale.

Price, who began riding at the age of seven, dazzled the crowds when she gave a dressage demonstration wearing a traditional outfit with a touch of sparkle. The model looked stylish in a black gold-edged jacket and white jodhpurs, topped off with a sparkly black dressage hat.

It was quite different from her KP Equestrian leisure wear range – casual wear in different shades of pink – which is being sold at the show.

She entered the ring at the NEC to the sound of her husband Peter Andre’s biggest hit, Mysterious Girl, before she was put through her paces by her trainer, top dressage rider Andrew Gould.

Afterwards she told reporters she had enjoyed her performance and hoped to be allowed back into the ring.

Price, who has been learning dressage for three months, performed on her horse Jordan's Glamour Girl and was watched by her family.

"I had such a lovely time today. I really wanted to come back for another go," she said afterwards.

The Horse of the Year Show confirmed that she would be included in Sunday night's programme. Show director Mark Wein said: "I am delighted to be able to invite Katie back for the finale."

Price branched out from modelling with a reality TV series and has also become a successful children’s author.
