Up to 100 jobs are planned at insurance firm Fusion as part of the company’s growth plans.
The company, part of insurance giant the BGL Group, wants to taken on the extra members of staff at its Parkside Business Park offices, in Coventry.
The news comes as the company gears up for additional growth – which will see the Coventry site dealing with over 700, 000 more customer calls every year.
Fusion, which counts Post Office, M&S Money, HSBC, RAC and Auto Trader among its cutomers, is creating jobs for sales and service advisors, retentions agents and team leaders.
The latest announcement follows the 13th consecutive year of profit growth for the BGL Group – with its comparethemarket.com comparison site achieving 70 per cent growth.
The company has been operating out of Coventry for a number of years with its motorbike insurance arm, Bennetts, originally being founded in the city 80 years ago.
Jason Turner, head of Fusion contact centre services in Coventry, said the move was positive for Warwickshire’s employment sector.
He said: “The new jobs are not only great news for Fusion but also offer great prospects to local people.
“In the current climate, with many companies struggling, we are continuing to grow with our customer base.”
