Up to 40 new jobs are expected to be created over the next 12 months by insurance firm The Policy Shop.
The Coventry-based firm has established a new property division which has led to the business expanding into extra office space, alongside its headquarters in Queens Road.
The announcement coincides with a re-branding for the Policy Shop which has also launched a new consumer website promoting its full range of property and vehicle insurance services which features a range of cover options for cars, motorcycles and small commercial vehicles.
Managing director Sean Byrne, who founded the business in 1993, said that the launch of the specialist household insurance division will result in between 30 and 40 new jobs over the coming year.
The Policy Shop has ambitious plans to grow the business from its current annual turnover of £16 million to over £20 million within the next 18 months.
Mr Byrne said: “Our strength has come from the focus we have on providing a personal service to our customers and ensuring we are providing the most appropriate cover for their needs.”
