Firms from across the West Midlands are being invited to attend a free workshop in Solihull to help them increase their understanding of innovation and the benefits of implementing it into their business.

‘Innovation means Business’ is the latest workshop held by the Innovation Advisory Service from Business Link – a free expert advice service designed to assist small and medium sized businesses.

Aimed at SMEs across all sectors and industries, the event will help them look at new ways of growing their business and beating the recession by identifying what the innovation process is and how they can foster a culture of innovation. This will enable them to bring benefits to customers, such as improved profitability and the development of new products and markets.

Delivered by Targeting Innovation, the specialist technology and innovation consultancy, the workshop will introduce and illustrate innovation through a variety of tools, techniques and case studies.

Tony Onoro, programme manager at Business Link WM said: “The March workshop is the first of many of which we have planned for the Solihull area. By taking an indepth look into what innovation actually is, attendees will be able to decipher which techniques and systems to implement in their day to day routine in order for them to be able to reap the associated benefits.

“We’ve seen an incredible response for past events so have high expectations for this one. Targeting Innovation is a well respected consultancy who we feel have the ability to deliver the topics with clear understanding and in detail.”
