Plans to build a super-casino in the West Midlands have been revived - just weeks after the region's bid was thought to have failed.
A revised bid, highlighting the community regeneration benefits of a #350 million casino near the NEC complex, has been submitted to the Government's Casino Advisory Panel (CAP).
Significantly, the updated plan has the support of Advantage West Midlands.
The region's original casino bid, backed by Birmingham City Council and Solihull Council, had failed to reach the CAP's short-list.
Tomorrow's Birmingham Post reveals the details behind the revised bid and reaction to the news that the super-casino could yet be coming to the Midlands.
