Halesowen Town have expressed their worries over their goals-for column in the absence of the injured Howard Forinton but on Saturday, Nathan Lamey proved he too has an eye for goal.

Lamey notched a hat-trick - his second in four league games - to seal a 3-2 Premier Division win at Cheshunt and shoot Paul Holleran's Yeltz into the top ten.

Halesowen, who seem to be reserving their best performances for away games, twice led through Lamey's fourthminute shot and a stunning 22-yard goal-of-the-season contender on 34 minutes.

Cheshunt twice levelled through Lloyd Opara and Lee Allen but Lamey had the final say with a neat back-header from Alex Cowley's 82ndminute corner.

Evesham United slipped deeper into trouble when they lost 0-1 at home to fellow strugglers Yate Town. Dave Elsey's free-kick winner left Dave Busst ' s side second-from-bottom and without a win in ten games.

Willenhall Town remain the leading promotion hope in Division One West after Gary Hay's winner gave them three points against ten- man Bracknell Town at Noose Lane.

Bracknell had to play for 87 minutes with ten men after Jim Griffin was red-carded for handball and though Dean Perrow fired the resulting penalty wide, his strike partner Hay clinched the points on 15 minutes.

Perrow was the creator with an inviting through-ball and Hay netted at the near post.

Willenhall lie fourth in the table but Bromsgrove Rovers' promotion charge stuttered in a 1-0 defeat at third-placed Swindon Supermarine.

Jimmy Newton hit the decider on 65 minutes but Rovers were frustrated by a series of goalline clearances and good goalkeeping as their second-half onslaught brought no reward.

Clevedon Town remain top but they were flattered by a 3-1 home win over Stourport Swifts. Shaun Findlay had given the Swifts a deserved 25th-minute lead but the turning point came just before half-time when the young striker was injured and Steve Smith had a Stourport 'goal' chalked off.

Instead, Jack Pitcher levelled on 61 minutes and two goals in the final two minutes from Richard French and a Roy McFarlane own goal snatched the points.

Kyle Perry notched his first goal for Sutton Coldfield Town as they twice hit back to earn a 2-2 draw at home to secondplaced Ashford Town.

Sutton striker Damien Markman's stunning 25-yard volley cancelled out Ryan Lake's opener and though Gavin Smith restored Ashford's lead at half-time, Perry made it 2-2 when the recent recruit from AFC Telford converted a Mark Wolsey freekick.

Darren Grocutt celebrated his first goal in Bedworth United's colours to earn a 1-1 draw against visitors Paulton Rovers but Rushall Olympic's home woes continued.

Hemel Hempstead's 2-0 win left the Pics without a win at Dales Lane in their last five games.
