An ice cream-maker from Worcestershire has won a deal to supply to 20 retail outlets.
Salwarpe-based Churchfields Farmhouse Ice Cream will supply Midcounties Co-Operative food stores in Gloucestershire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire.
Among the flavours on offer are orange with Grand Marnier, toffee fudge and walnut and maple syrup flavour ice creams.
Churchfields is well known for its innovative ice cream flavours, with its unique Seriously Stilton ice cream and other more traditional recipes such as Vanilla having won several prestigious food awards.
Gillian Kerton, runs the ice cream production side of the busines, said: “We are so thrilled to be part of the Midcounties Co-Operative supply chain.
“As a small supplier we think it says something about the quality of our product, but more importantly the way the Co-Operative really does stand by its ethical values such as its commitment to sustainable practices and food provenance.”
