Neil Hunt has left Evesham United's management team just weeks after joining the British Gas Business Southern Midland club.

Hunt had switched to the Robins to become Paul West's assistant after guiding Malvern Town's promotion from the Midland Alliance.

But West says the double act has failed to work.

"It's a purely football decision and a mutual one," said West."It got to the stage where players were looking at it and wondering who was running the shop and that can't happen." n Holders Moor Green will begin their defence of the Worcestershire Senior Cup with a trip to the team which ended their dreams of a county cup double last season.
