Stephen Hughes has emphasised the need for Coventry City to build on their solid start to the season by embarking on an unbeaten run.

Building delays at the Ricoh Arena mean that their first three matches of the season were listed as away games - but that could turn into a blessing in disguise.

After coming from behind to earn a 1-1 draw away to Norwich City on Saturday, the Coventry captain is looking for similar displays of resilience away to Millwall tonight and then Burnley.

"Where we finished in the table last season was a big disappointment and we let ourselves down as well as the fans," Hughes said. "Making errors cost us last season and we threw games away but I have my fingers crossed for at least a finish in the top half of the table this season.

"In this league, all you need to do is put a good run together and you can fly up the table."

Micky Adams, the Coventry manager, has no fresh injury concerns with Stuart Giddings, who has injured his ankle, likely to be the only absentee.

David Livermore, the unsettled Millwall midfield player, could return to the for the match.

The 25-year-old missed the 2-1 defeat away to Leeds United on Sunday with a thigh injury and Colin Lee, the manager, is waiting to see whether he will recover.

Livermore has attracted interest from Southampton and Sunderland since submitting a transfer request recently but Lee, the former Walsall and Wolverhampton Wanderers manager, said: "As far as I'm aware, he will still be at the club for the Coventry game."

Lee has no new injury worries and, should Livermore fail to shake off his injury, he expects to name the same squad that travelled to Elland Road.
