A fan posted uncannily accurate predictions about Liverpool's 7-0 thrashing of Birmingham City on the internet.
The mystery punter - known only as "Messi better than cesc" - not only guessed the final score, but said there would be a goal in the opening minute.
He or she also correctly claimed there would be three goals in the first half and four in the second, the sixth would be an own goal, and Djibril Cisse would score very late on.
The predictions were posted on the BBC's 606 site at 7.05pm on Tuesday night - about 40 minutes before the FA Cup tie kicked off in Birmingham.
Fellow users initially expressed doubts about the likelihood of them coming true, but these quickly turned to amazement as the goals started to go in.
One asked for the seemingly psychic fan's lottery numbers, while another commented: "Got any racing tips?"
Some cynical souls, however, pointed out that there had been a few mistakes.
"Messi better than cesc" said the scoring would be opened by Xabi Alonso from long range after 38 seconds - in fact Sami Hyypia netted first with a header."
Simply predicting the 7-0 scoreline before kick-off would have received odds of 100/1 from bookmakers William Hill.
