Last season's Ladies Division One Champions of The Birmingham League, Hotshots I, lost their opening fixture of the new season to a changed Birmingham University I side.

In Men's Division Two, KRS II had a mixed week. They beat Cocks Moors I 5-4, after being 4-2 down. Haq Nawaz & Herbert Mills won two games for the winners.
However, they were comprehensively demolished by Four Oaks I, 8-1. Paul Cope with Matt Jeans and Ben Loach with Nick Gregory remained in great form to secure the points.
