A mother described how she cowered upstairs with her two terrified children as a gang of hoodiewearing youths destroyed her home.
Donna Moore, aged 41, tried desperately to reassure her children Dean, aged 14, and Sophie, aged 12, as nine men, armed with baseball bats and sledgehammers, beat down the door to her home in Aspley, Nottingham, early on Sunday, September 4.
The gang then ransacked the property in what Mrs Moore believes was a revenge attack because she reported some of the youths to police after witnessing a attempted theft the previous day.
She said the gang, who lived locally, had been making threats to her and her family earlier in the day.
The divorced mother-oftwo said: "It was absolutely horrific. I could hear them shouting threats, saying they were going to kill us all if we told the police."
