Mark Swann and Gary Hay began 2005 as they ended 2006 [2014] with goalscoring shows to keep Willenhall Town on top of the Southern One West table.

Swann and Hay had been on the scoresheet in Saturday's draw at Solihull Borough and yesterday they sealed a 3-1 victory over Bedworth United at Noose Lane.

Willenhall had led on eight minutes though Indy Khela but Greenbacks striker Michael Swan equalised on 57 minutes. The hosts' Swann fired home a perfect half-volley with 20 minutes left before Hay netted four minutes from time.

Craig Owen (2), Liam Hebberd and Damien Markman earned Sutton Coldfield Town a 4-1 home win over Rushall Olympic. Richard Gardner replied with a penalty.

Dean Curtis opened his Solihull Borough goals account in a 3-1 win at Cinderford Town. Dave Pearson gave Boro the half-time advantage and, though Jody Bevan levelled, Curtis, signed from AFC Telford, netted on 74 and 80 minutes.

Wayne Dyer stabbed home the Bromsgrove Rovers equal-iser in a 1-1 draw at Stour-port Swifts who were put in front by Chris Hughes.
