Goodyear Dunlop Tyres has appointed a new director of its consumer and motorcycle arm.
The firm, headquartered at Tyre Fort in Birmingham, has announced that Juergen Titz, currently Director of the company’s HiQ retail network, will take on the new role on October 1.
Mr Titz will continue to report to George Rietbergen, managing director UK and Ireland, and replaces Mark Davison, who will be moving to a new opportunity outside of the tyre industry.
He has been part of the European organisation since 1998 and joined the UK and Ireland business in January 2009 to lead the successful growth of HiQ’s franchise programme.
Mr Rietbergen said: “We are delighted that Juergen has accepted the exciting challenge of driving forward our industry leading brand portfolio.
“We wish Mark well in his future career. He brought his considerable expertise to our business, leading a complete restructure of the sales business, establishing a strong platform for the future.”
