A 13-year-old girl was raped and indecently assaulted in a park after befriending two boys.
West Midlands Police said the victim, from Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham, was attacked on Bank Holiday Monday in Malvern Park, Solihull.
The teenager, who was assaulted between 4pm and 6pm, was with a friend in Solihull town centre when they met two boys outside a McDonald's restaurant.
A police spokeswoman said: "The girls walked to the park with the lads and one was led into the wooded area opposite the tennis courts where she was raped by one and the other indecently assaulted her.
"It is believed the other girl was distracted at the time of the incident."
One of the boys, who gave his name as Steven, is described as white and aged 16.
