The Midlands' pint-sized answers to Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers have danced for Hollywood actor Richard Gere.
Megan Alebon, aged four, from Rubery, and Lewis Hateley, aged five, from West Bromwich, were asked to cha cha cha in front of the superstar for an ITV television programme.
The pair, who are Britain's youngest dancing couple, performed for just under a minute to Michael Buble's Sway at a television studio in London.
The stunt was partly to promote Gere's latest film, Shall We Dance?, a romantic comedy which also stars Jennifer Lopez.
Lewis ' mother, Kay Hateley, was particularly delighted to meet the A-list celebrity, who also has a son aged five.
She said: "I felt like it was happening to someone else, I just couldn't believe it.
"I've always admired him. What woman on the planet wouldn't after seeing him in An Officer and A Gentleman? I had a queue of friends wanting to come with us."
Her husband, Keith, a radiator engineer, said: " Richard Gere is one of the most famous actors in the world, but to the children he was just another man watching them dance.
"They weren't nervous at all. They are used to going out and competing in a ballroom packed with people and with intense lighting, so a studio is not so different."
