High growth businesses can seek funding of between £500,000 and £5 millon at a conference in the West Midlands.
The funding will be on offer at the Connect Midlands Investment Conference (CMIC) in November.
Since 2001, Connect Midlands has helped more than 250 companies go on to raise £200 million worth of investment to exploit their innovations.
Director John Griffiths said its flagship event, CMIC, has been at the heart of that fundraising.
He added: “We are now actively looking for businesses to showcase at the event that are seeking to raise £500,000 to £5 million of investment.
“With the event not taking place until November, this call may sound early but we want to give as many businesses as possible the time to make their case, significantly improve their chances and, crucially, to prepare that all important pitch.
“To prepare and support businesses to raise funds at CMIC, we are offering a master-class programme that enhances their skills to formulate a more attractive business plan and to make a compelling pitch to investors.”
The organisation is looking to identify prospective companies over the summer and will then run a workshop to review their strategic cases on September 1.
The body is backed by the East Midlands Development Agency, Advantage West Midlands, University of Warwick, Business Link, European funding and 24 private sector sponsors.
