Four men have been taken to hospital following a car crash in Birmingham today.  

The collision happened between two cars at Audley Road in Stechford shortly before 12:30pm.

Four ambulances were sent to the scene as well as the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford.

Three men, believed to be in their 20s, had been travelling in one of the vehicles. Both the driver and rear seat passenger were ejected from the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was treated for head and facial injuries and the rear seat passenger was treated for neck pain. Both men were immobilised using a neck collars and spinal boards before being taken to Heartlands Hospital for further treatment.

The front seat passenger was treated at the scene for neck pain before being taken to Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield.

The driver of the second vehicle, a man believed to be in his 70s, was treated for a chest injury before being taken to City Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
