Four people, including a child, have been injured in a three-car collision in Warwick.

The crash, involving a silver Audi A4, a blue Vauxhall Zafira and a silver Renault Clio, happened at 12.30pm on Sundayoutside the The Saxon Mill Public House just off the Coventry Road in Guys Cliffe.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a ten-year-old boy sustained face, chest and suspected abdominal injuries and was airlifted to hospital.

A man in his 40s suffered a chest injury and was transferred by land ambulance to hospital, as was a woman in her 30s complaining of abdominal pain and another woman - also in her 30s - with minor injuries.

Police investigating the collision are working to trace a cyclist who is believed to have passed along the road at the time of the crash.
