Mikael Forssell has said he is happy to commit his future to Birmingham City.
The 26-year-old Finnish international is out of contract at the end of the season but said he would open talks with the club soon.
Forssell reminded Blues of his striking prowess with a stunning hat-trick in the 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
"Obviously the key factor for everyone, the club and me, is that we would stay up," he said. "That would be very important and I am more than happy to stay then. This is a great club."
