A charity football event is taking place in Birmingham on June 12 to raise supplies for local food banks.
The 'Footy for Food' event, which runs from 3pm to 6pm at Millennium Point in Eastside, is being held as part of a 10-city, 10-day tour across the UK to support food banks.
Footy for Food said it was aiming to tackle hunger by setting up a football game and inviting the public to come play.
Participants must take along kit and food for the food bank or cash.
The Trussell Trust, which is behind the programme, works with a local Trussell Trust food bank to ensure that 100 per cent of what is raised by the local community remains within that community.
