American porn baron Larry Flynt has said he is severing his relationship with Hustler Hollywood UK, putting the future of the Birmingham flagship store in jeopardy.
In a written statement to The Birmingham Post, Mr Flynt said that his main company, Larry Flynt Publications (LFP), will terminate its licence agreement with Hustler Hollywood UK and its clothing distributor Hustler Clothing.
This was due to "the failure of Hustler Hollywood UK and Hustler Clothing to pay their required licence fees," the statement said.
Both UK companies are owned by millionaire businessman Andrew Joseph and his mother.
Earlier this year, Mr Joseph said he owed LFP royalties of about £22,700 and an annual exclusivity payment of £142,000. The store closed in November last year after a dispute with a supplier.
