Five people arrested in connection with the death of a Black Country mother who was hit by a car were today released on police bail.
Leanne Moore, 25, was knocked over and killed while walking along a lane in Cradley shortly after midnight on Saturday.
West Midlands Police said the Rover had earlier been followed by a marked police car after it was seen acting suspiciously. The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is investigating the police force's involvement.
Three men aged 26, 21 and 20 and two women aged 18 and 17 arrested in connection with the death were released on bail pending further enquiries.
Ms Moore, from Halesowen, West Midlands, had a nine-month-old baby called Sophie with boyfriend Lee Willoughby, 25.
