Fish4jobs, one of the country's best-known recruitment websites is looking to join forces with employers when it brings its annual jobs roadshow to Birmingham in June.

The Fish4jobs and Daily Mirror team is hitting the road for the third year running in its double decker bus to deliver a pop-up jobs fair in Centenary Square on June 10 and 11, offering employers direct access to hundreds of enthusiastic local candidates and giving them the opportunity to highlight career opportunities within their organisations.

Charlotte Tracy, roadshow director at Fish4jobs, is building on the success of last year’s events when more than 7,000 people visited the bus at numerous stops across the UK and is now calling for local employers, recruitment consultants and training and apprenticeship providers to 'hop on the bus' and showcase what they can offer to jobseekers.

Charlotte said: “We are giving local employers, recruitment agencies and training providers the opportunity to meet directly with local jobseekers who are in search of their next career move or training opportunity.

“We know from the number of employers using Fish4jobs that jobs are available across the region and that local people of all ages and all levels of experience are looking for the perfect opportunity in the area. We really want to bring these sets of people together for the benefit of the companies, the individuals and the local communities.

“We’re going to be in Centenary Square on June 10 and 11 from 10-4pm, and would love to hear from recruiters, employers and training providers in the area who wish to highlight their opportunities to proactive local candidates.”

Jobseekers will be able to meet local employers and recruiters to find out how to apply for local vacancies including apprenticeships. They will also be able to attend workshops on employment skills and hear career advice from experts in the sector on how best to answer popular interview questions and how to produce a top-notch CV.
