Dear Editor, Mr Blair has told a leading German newspaper that the ongoing debt crisis in the euro zone would lead to a “powerful political change of the EU”.

On this point he goes on the say: ”I am deeply worried that Britain could decide by referendum to leave the whole process.”

Deeply worried the gravy train might stop before he’s got on board more like – as “unelected” EU president.

Blair continues by saying: “If more competences are transferred to the EU, then its democratic legitimacy must be built up with Britain playing a strong role so that there’s a balance between EU and nation states.” Blair just doesn’t get the point.

Those are not “competencies” that are being transferred to Brussels.

They are freedoms, and how on earth can you “balance” the EU institutions with nation states with out losing out on democracy and sovereignty?

He took us into a war by whoring for Bush now he can whore himself as EUSSR president,

His real “worry” of course is surely that one of his many gravy trains could be hitting the buffers and fall of the track.
