Birmingham bluegrass band the Toy Hearts have appealed for the public’s help after all their sound equipment was stolen from their van.
The band’s public address system and a variety of accessories were stolen from outside their Kings Heath home on April 6.
The equipment includes a pair of Mach M Flex 15’ powered speakers and a Mackie 12 channel mixing desk in a flight case.
Also taken was a flight case rack containing two Behringer compressors and Yamaha and Behringer graphic equalisers.
The thieves’ haul also included a variety of Neuman, Shure, AKG and Audio Technica microphones.
A spokesman for the band said: “Being hard-working and underpaid musicians, it wasn't insured.
“We expect that's the last we'll see of our stuff but you never know with the help of kind people.”
“So we’re asking people in Birmingham to keep an eye and ear open.”
The band have set up a Facebook page here with a full list of stolen gear.
