Dear Editor, Many years ago the Birmingham Post published a number of letters criticising Elton John including one from myself after a show at the Indoor Arena.
Out of fairness I need to report that I went to the NEC last Friday and saw a brilliant concert by Elton John (and his talented band).
He was on stage for two and three quarter hours and showed no ego in a high energy show. He came over very sincerely and was extremely grateful.
He also acted as talent scout for two Croatian cellists who were outstanding and will become acclaimed in their own right
