Two elderly women have been taken to hospital after a collision between two cars in Worcestershire.
 
The crash happened at Tagwell Road, Droitwich, shortly after 3.20pm on Tuesday. The injured women were both pedestrians in the 70s.

One of the women suffered a serious head injury and was airlifted to University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire.
 
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said the other pedestrian had wrist and facial injuries. She was immobilised with the use of a spinal board and neck collar and was taken by ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
