Edgbaston bar and restaurant Blue Piano has submitted a planning application for a back garden bar and an extension to its opening hours.
The proposal from the south Asian eatery on Harborne Road includes related work like the installation of awnings, exterior lighting, decking areas and commercial parasol.
The application was registered on November 23 and is open to public consultation until December 19.
The venue , which faces the new 24 hour Anytime Fitness gym, has been converted from two Edwardian houses and includes guest accommodation.
It is in the Edgbaston Conservation Area and part of Calthorpe Estates.
Calthorpe has plans to create an urban village centred around the nearby Greenfield Crescent, which would see a significant increase in the retail and leisure offer in the leafy suburb.
