Small car owners are being given a unique opportunity to shape the final design of a new car being produced by MG Motor UK.

Following the successful launch of the MG6 GT fastback, Longbridge-based MG Motor UK is already working on a range of new models, one of which will be the MG3.

It is believed the car will be launched next year and people in Birmingham could have a say in how the final product ends up looking.

Owners or drivers of small cars like Volkswagen Polos or Ford Fiesta which are less than three years old are being invited to a special car clinic at MG in Birmingham on Thursday, May 26.

MG Motor UK spokesman Doug Wallace said: “To the best of my knowledge this is the first time a car company has done something like this.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity and people in Birmingham really could end up influencing the UK specification of his car.”

Places at the one-off customer car clinic on Thursday afternoon are limited. Anyone interesting in taking part should email Steph Vickers at MG Motor UK on info@mgmotor.co.uk .
